Ni throf fy ŵyneb byth yn ôl

(Serch ar Iesu)
1,2,3,((4),5);  1,2,3,6,8;  1,2,6.
Ni throf fy ŵyneb byth yn ôl
  I 'mofyn pleser gau;
Ond mi a gerddaf tua'r wlad
  Sy â'i phleser yn parhau.

Mae holl deganau'r ddaear hon,
  Fu gynt yn fawr eu grym,
Yng ngŵydd fy Iesu'n gwywo i gyd,
  Ac yn diflannu'n ddim.

Y mae aroglau pur ei ras
  Fel peraroglau'r nef;
Ac nid oes cymar is yr haul
  Yn unlle iddo Ef.

Mae'n denu'm serch trwy wyntoedd oer,
  Yn gyfan ato'i hun;
Ac fe ddiffoddodd bob rhyw chwant
  At ddaear, ac at ddyn.

Fe dorrwyd rhyngof fi a'm chwant,
  Daeth ar fy mhleser drai;
Ond fy hapusrwydd perffaith yw
  Dy garu a'th fwynhau.

Mi af ymlaen, yn nerth y nef,
  I'r paradwysaidd dir;
Ac ni orffwysaf nes cael gweld
  Fy etifeddiaeth bur.

Fe gerdda 'nhraed yn hwylus iawn,
  Dof cyn prydnawn i'r lan;
Os caf fi fwyta'r gwleddoedd hyn,
  Câf ganu yn y man.

(Serch ar Iesu)
Ni throf fy wyneb byth yn ol
  I 'mofyn pleser gau;
Ond mi a deithiaf tua'r wlad
  Sy a'i phleser i barhau.

Mi af, dan ganu, tua'r wlad
  Bwrcaswyd im' i fyw,
Gan adael byth yn mhell o'm hol
  Gystuddiau o bob rhyw.

Ac mi debygaf clywaf swn
  Nefolaidd lu o'm blaen,
Oll wedi concro a myned drwy
  Dymhestloedd dw'r a thân.

  Darfydded dydd darfydded nôs
  Fe'm siomwyd gan bleserau'r llawr
  Iesu yw tegwch mawr y byd
  Mi âf dan ganu tua'r wlad
  Mi âf ym mlaen yn nerth y nef
  Pan byddo f'Arglwydd imi'n rhoi
  Y baich sydd arnaf ddydd a nos

(Desire for Jesus)

I will never turn my face back
  To seek empty pleasure;
But I will walk towards the land
  Whose pleasure will endure.

All the trinkets of this earth,
  Which once had great force,
Are all withering in the face of my Jesus,
  And vanishing to nothing.

The pure odours of his grace are
  Like the sweet odours of heaven;
And there is no equal under the sun
  Anywhere to him.

He attracts my affections through cold winds,
  Completely towards himself;
And he extinguished every kind of lust
  For earth and for man.

It was broken between me and my desires
  An ebbing came upon my pleasure;
But my perfect happiness is
  To love and to enjoy thee.

I will go forward, in the strength of heaven,
  To the paradisiacal land;
And I will not rest until getting to see
  My pure inheritance.

My feet shall walk very successfully,
  I shall come up before evening;
If I get to eat those feasts,
  I shall get to smile soon.
I shall walk :: I shall travel

(Passion for Jesus)
I will never turn back my face
  To seek empty pleasure;
But I will travel towards the land
  Which has its enduring pleasure.

I will go, singing, towards the land
  Purposed for me to live in,
Leaving forever far behind
  Afflictions of every kind.

And I imagine I hear a sound
  Of a heavenly host before me,
All having conquered and gone through
  Tempests of water and fire.
